Words, words, words. I will never be sick of words. All I have ever wanted to be is a writer—inspired in part by the comic strip I devoured as a tween and teen, Brenda Starr, Reporter. “You’ll starve,” my parents shrieked when I told them my career choice.
My stories, books, and plays draw on family, memory, and the beautiful chaos of everyday life. Playful and poignant, my words celebrate life’s small and loud moments to remind us of what it means to be human.
